The framework identifies six areas of work and calls these ‘enablers’:
1. Leadership & Governance
2. An Evidence Based Approach
3. Empowered Individuals and Communities
5. An Enhanced Workforce
6. Opportunities to Participate
These are ‘pre-conditions’ for the achievement of the vision. Collaboration and partnership working to grow knowledge, expertise, and skills across County Durham will lead to a strong network of partner organisations who will be able to deliver opportunities for everyone in County Durham to be more active.
